Dear lovely couple, I write this post directly from my desktop where may takes few hours from your hometown but hopefully you will get inspiration from a couple that I’m going to share today. My name is Bima and thank you for visiting my photography blog.
I would like to introduce my couple in this page as Joanna and Angga, they coming from Jakarta Indonesia and just like my past couple we just meet simply through this blog than lately I’ve been trusted as their eye witness on their big day.
All Joanna said to me is she want to get the most outstanding and romantic engagement images before their marriage. I still remember that we still meet each other in a small cafe in Yogyakarta before I went to Jakarta for their engagement session, it’s totally exciting to meet her and Angga.
We plan to having photo shoot in 2 different places, here we going to small coffee shop with heritage interior design than continue to Ancol beach where the famous wooden bridge located. By the way my mom used to took me into this beach when I still in an early age, so this place gonna be so memorable for me.
What You Need to Know Before Having Photo Shoot in Jakarta
I could say that having an engagement session in Jakarta is so challenging, the only one thing that you should consider before choosing this town to get your memorable and romantic engagement images is TRAFFIC!
By the way I was in this town and the traffic made my mom decide that we going to move to Yogyakarta. As a person who really love driving a car I still confuse how to drive in this town so next I suggest you to hire a car with driver when you go to Jakarta.
Jakarta has two airport there are Soekarno Hatta International Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma, no matter where you landed you definitely need to browse and book your flight. Here I use jetradar or compare prices on flights with Skyscanner to looking for the best ticket fare.
Hotels, there are thousand of hotels that I recommend you to stay in so let me give suggest you with some of the best where you can get a really nice bedroom and sleep experience.
- Raffles Jakarta – I stayed in this hotel following shooting a blessing ceremony, this hotel is insane!
- Grand Hyatt – I’ve been shooting wedding in this hotel for sure, their oriental restaurant is highly recommended
- Ritz – Carlton – don’t miss it! hospitality are superb!
