Chinatown is an incredible area that always has tons of things to see, from the authentic building facade till the taste of chinese dish will always be interesting for any traveler. In Singapore, you can easily go to Chinatown with a MRT, a nice train subway that used by everyone both local and foreigner to go from A to B, in fact this is the cheapest transportation to go around this small country. When you stop in Chinatown try to walk in the small street where the Singaporean sell cheap souvenirs and clothes (I bought my Chinese clothes here in 2012 and still look nice after 3 years). Actually this place will be the best spot to buy some souvenir to your parents, friends, or your family and don’t forget to but the SIN$3 juice when you feel thirsty too. In the end of the street you will see Jamee Mosque just next to awesome Indian restaurant where you can get some biryani rice and prata bread for you lunch, everything is so delicious and cheap.

There is a new hotel in Chinatown that looks so modern and unique, the color is so catchy in red and they provide a natural vegetation for the facade ornament, this is the Oasia Hotel Downtown. With 27 floors of lovely accommodation, Oasia also provide the outdoor pool and terrace for everyone, even it is located in Chinatown area but better for you to stop in Tanjong Pagar MRT Station than go for 3 minutes walk to the hotel. If you want to sightseeing around, there are few places that become the most favorite spot for traveler in Chinatown that you can reach easily by walk such as: SIngapore City Gallery and Red Dot Design Museum (400 m) and the Sri Mariamman Temple (800 m) just nearby the Jamee Mosque and Indian Restaurant that I already told you before.

Cause Changi Airport is only 18 km from this hotel so you can take a deep breathe and no need in rush when you want to go to Airport, just prepare 45 minutes and I think it is quite save to go there by MRT. You can consider this hotel as your place to stay while in Singapore both for business or leisure purposes and you can compare between 2 marketplaces Agoda.com and Booking.com to get the best rate for it. I also would like to say thank you if you want to share your Singapore Journey experience with me, simply text in a comment form below so everybody can know your experience and it must be useful for everyone.
