How to go to Yogyakarta from Singapore
Today the easiest way to go to Yogyakarta from Singapore are by Air Asia and Silk Air, those two airlines has a direct flight schedule from Changi to Adiscupto Airport in Yogyakarta. Silk air will depart around 8.20 am and Air Asia will depart around 11.15 from Changi and you will be landed in Terminal B which is located only 200 m from the terminal A. From here you can choose a transportation to go to the city, Airport taxi will cost around IDR 70.000 (it is a package price so the will not using their taxi meter) and Trans Jogja bus will cost IDR5.000 (it is a flat rate even you have to change your bus). Adisucipto International Airport is located 15 km from the city center Malioboro so in the normal situation you will take around 50 minutes by taxi and 80 minutes by Trans Jogja
How to go to Yogyakarta from Kuala Lumpur
Even from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Air Asia still the fastest airlines that you can use to get the direct flight schedule. With 2 flights per day, at 9.45 and 15.15 you will be landed in Adisucipto International Airport within 2 hours and 40 minutes. Here you will also landed in terminal B which is located 200 meter from the main terminal that you can grab the Trans Jogja to go to the city. Through that bus you can ask the officer who standing by in the bus stop gate about what bus number that you should take to go to the city.
