People are amazing, food will blown your mind, and for sure the culture will bring you the most exciting experience that you never see. I’m Bima, and here I wanna talk to you as your best friend that will tell you about few things that you should prepare before getting a pre wedding photo shoot in Japan. I based in Indonesia but I travel a lot for wedding, pre wedding, and portrait photo shoot cause God bless me so much by sending worldwide couple that want to celebrate their happiness moment with me. Let me share some of them…

After 1 year Denise and Joel also invite me to come to Maldives but we gonna stay in different resort, a bit far the Lux* and we choose to stay in Angsana Velavaru, You may see whole lovely pictures through here.
Back to your Japan Pre Wedding preparation, it seems to be more exciting if you can consider about few essential thing before your trip, and here it gonna be:
#1 – Photo Schedule
Japan is country that absolutely you can visit in whole year but make sure that during spring season (March to May) especially within 14 days of cherry blossom will be the most peak time for everyone. City in the north like Hokkaido will have different season with other cities in the middle or south Japan like Tokyo, Kyoto, or even Matsuyama. If you a person who really concern about cherry blossom that you must prepare that exploring Japan during that week will looks like thousand people everywhere, so be patient, be humble, and just improvise everything. As a photographer I can suggest that your 2nd opinion to exploring Japan is in Autumn (September to November) or Summer (June to August). Autumn will be good for everyone cause weather are so nice and you can see red, brown leave as your background and surrounding view. Summer will be a bit hot to sightseeing around the city but sky will so clear and all the building, clothes, or any things that have a color will be nice.
#2 – Gown and Suit
I always suggest my couple to have more than 2 formal wardrobe plus 1 casual clothes if taking 1 day photo shoot and may be 3 formal wardrobe plus 2 casual clothes for 2 days photo shoot. White bridal and common tuxedo is a common things that you should bring if you wanna look as bride-groom to be in your engagement or pre wedding photo shoot, but if you want to look more colorful than you can bring gowns that have more color like red, yellow, tosca green, or even purple. Men’s suit will be vary but bring like a grey or black suit will be amazing, mostly Men will be more flexible that Women so that’s why we always put a high concern about women’s wardrobe
#3 Ground Transportation
Exploring Japan with public transportation is amazing, but before this let me share you about 2 type of couple for sightseeing around. 1st is a couple that only concern about photo shoot, if this is where you are I highly suggest you to rent a car and driver so you can just simply sit in the car and driver will take you everywhere cause it will be more efficient. 2nd is a couple who concern about the Joy of traveling, if this is where you are, I suggest you to use public transport like JR and Shinkansen and don’t be so rush (yes I have a time limit for package of photo shoot but for a downtown like Japan I could negotiable for it). Taking a snap or candid moment in a station sometimes forbidden but if we do it fast I sure that we can get more attractive pictures that everyone don’t. Walking down the street or stop in cafe and drink a latte will be awesome too, some cafes also have a good interior and building facade so we can use it during walking in middle of downtown in Japan.
