Having a nice couple on my studio lists is beyond expectation, what I’m gonna share today is my experience for having a dinner on the beach together with my couple and their family following the wedding.
It is Jasmine and Kevan, my lovely couple who coming from Singapore that I met about 8 months before I fly to Bali for their wedding.

My first meeting with Jasmine is when she invite me for lunch in a Raffles Place Singapore, I got a nice cafe where I can order my burger set that taste so delicious. Jasmine and Kevan’s wedding was very simple and I welcoming you to see it on my gallery.
We change locations for several times, got a blessing in FX Church Kuta, day shooting in Double Sic Beach Seminyak, back to Kumpul-Kumpul Villa in Seminyak for tea pai and ended in Patra Bali Resort for dinner.
Go Visit Bali for Your Wedding
By the way I live in Yogyakarta, a small city where it takes about an hour to fly from Bali. I love being here and I spend my childhood over than 20 years in a local culture. I regularly shooting in Bali for various session including wedding and portraits, Bali is amazing even no matter where I go they also build something.
I could say that I’m proudly inviting you to visit Bali and say your vow in this island, it has tons of beautiful scenery and wedding infrastructure that able provide you a great wedding. There are hundred of beautiful resort and villa that has a their own unique chapel like Alila Uluwatu and Bvulgari, make sure you see my personal review about Bali wedding venue too.
Generally there are 3 resort experience that you can get for your wedding:
- Forest and Padi Field – go to Ubud it such wonderful place to get relax
- Cliff-front – go to Uluwatu highland and most of the stunning resort has their own rock cliff
- Beach-front – go to Seminyak, Nusadua, or Legian you will get a chance to held your wedding with white sand beach
Dinner on the Beach Experience
Having a dinner on the beach is truly excellent, enjoying your tasty food with great hospitality from hotels that I recommend above and you can see the ocean right on your face. It’s a bit windy in the night but your celebration will warm up your body so don’t worry about it.
When I got couple who ask me for wedding shooting around Nusadua than most of them are celebrating a dinner on the beach, just like what you see above in Jasmine and Kevan’s wedding, there are about 30-40 people join their party and they chill out till 10 pm.
Another great hotel around Nusadua where you can get this such magnificent dinner experience is Ayana Resort, by the way they got cool chapel from the glass with a nice ocean view and it was fantastic. I’ve been there too for wedding shooting and you could see my works on Wang’s wedding.
How to Know Bali Better?
It’s such common itinerary where people go to Bali than they will spend few nights too on Gili Trawangan, get their snorkel set and meet their ‘Nemo’ friends under the crystal clear sea water.

Come to Bali and celebrate your wedding here, ask your family and close friend joining your wedding. Most of my couple spend around 7 days in Bali and it’s quite enough for wedding celebration and honeymoon. For your short information about just read my tips for getting married in Bali.
Browse your international flight ticket at least 6 months before your wedding date and book your resort at least 4 months before. Bali wedding season is on a dry season during June to October, stay aware with those season cause there are thousand couple got married even there are 2-3 wedding per day in the same resort.
Most of my couple start to send me an email for quotation around 10 months before, they used to book me with a date but resort or venue are still flexible. It seems common since getting the right venue is need more process and it depend on your dream so they used to fix all of things 2-4 months before the wedding.
