If you planning to go around Asia so your airlines may stop in Singapore, through this I just recommend you to sightseeing around this small country within 2-3 days, yes it is quite enough for you to go to Merlion, enjoying sunset in Clarke Quay, or go to Sentosa Island by train from Harbor Front, totally it gonna be your nice experience before you continue your flight to the main destination. If you think staying around Orchard Rd will be too noisy now thinking about Lavender which is just few steps from the center of attraction. As a person who really often go to Singapore so let me give you some list of things to do in this tiny (but rich) country:
DAY 1
- You can go to Merlion Statue (ride the MRT and stop in city hall or nearby station) and pose your self just like people drinking a waterfall from the statue
- Enjoy the Singapore River by taking a SIN$4 boat cruise for 15 minutes
- Go to Clarke Quay and order some cold drink in a river-front cafes and bar or just sitting down in the stairs just n the edge of the river
DAY 2
- Ride with a train and connecting with the bus to go to Handerson Waves Bridge, a magnificent bridge hanging up 80 meter above the highway road where you can see Singapore from the air
- Go to Kampong Glam and eat curry mee which belong to the ‘founding father place’ of Singapore
- Go to Chinese Garden in early morning and relax within 1 hour and enjoying your pure priceless time for for free
Interesting right? yes so please don’t take only few hours transit in Singapore but re-arrange your flights schedule so that you can sightseeing around in Singapore.
