Hi lovely couple my name is Bima and thank you for visiting my photography blog, here I share all of my pre wedding and wedding photo works and stories behind my journey.

Couple months ago I just got back from Macau following my portrait session in Hong Kong for 4 beautiful ladies. This city was fantastic and got a lot of potential side to be pre wedding spots. Down here I will share some of basic information about Macau based on my personal experiences.

Introduction of Macau

Macau is Hong Kong nearby side country which famous of their Casino live, I could say that this is the ‘Asian’ Vegas. I saw my self when people join me on elevator way to go down from my room in Venetian Resort, they bring thousand dollars on their hands to get into the Casino.

As a recent Portuguese colony you will see a lot street address and building written in the same language.

All you need to do is browsing and book your flight, there are few airlines that serve flight to Macau with a direct or 1 time transit. I recommend you to browse with jetradar or compare prices on flights with Skyscanner.

But if you willing to go to Macau by sea than book a turbojet speedboat in your choice, and this is how to go to Macau from Hong Kong:

1. Go to Sheung Wan by MTR and you will see Hong Kong – Macau Ferry Terminal in 202 Connaught Road Central
2. Go take Exit D from Sheung Wan MTR Station and you will directly see the boat counter
3. Ferries and boat are sail for 15 minutes between 07:00 and 24:00

Once you have ticket on your hand than booking a nice place to stay is your next thing to do, let me share some of them below:

• Venetian Resort – I stayed 2 nights in this luxury hotel and it comes with Venice look surrounding, even they got a Gondola ride too inside the hotel
• Galaxy Macau – It’s belong to Venetian rival, it comes with great Casino inside and luxury interior details and materials
• Airbnb – I’m not sure you’re going to stay on Airbnb where you visit a Casino but if you willing to do that, just hold my stay voucher here
