If you think God is super than you should know this little story about my couple Ledy and Sugi.
It’s been for little while since I’m not going to Jakarta and surrounding city for photo shoot but today I’m back to my hometown, bring all my photography gears, and documenting a special moment for this lovely bride, Ledy.
Simple wedding ceremony story for Ledy and Sugi
She came from an authentic moslem family who is lived in Padang, West Sumatera so today simple wedding ceremony will full of moslem tradition and so excited for me to capture it.
I know Ledy in my first time since she saw my wedding album from her friends Brian and Sri who lived in Texas right now, actually they were belong to my client to back in 2015.
My wife, Nina, simply received Ledy’s whatsapp chat and finally we know that Ledy met her fiancee Sugi just couple months ago before their marriage and decide to get married in very soon.
Sugi’s father is not willing to come to Jakarta for wedding and I really sorry to hear that cause he getting old and choose to see the wedding from the smartphone video, really appreciate for that efforts.
Long journey will just begin cause we’re not only goes to Jakarta but we still have to go to Bekasi which is about 2 hours ride with ridiculous traffic jam.
Fortunately that Ledy live in a peaceful area called Summarecon, totally it’s a nice place to stay, full of big trees, there is no traffic at all in some hours, and the most important thing is met great people in here.
I’m feeling happy right now cause me and Nina are accompany with our cute 6 months baby named John Rambo, thanks God he got his joyful first flight and happy for these journey.
I would love to say thank you to our airbnb host who set super fantastic room with beautiful and clean area so we able to get short 1 night stay before having the photo shoot.
After 2 hours ride than we touch down in Bekasi at 6pm and we take simple rest for little while and choose to go to Ledy’s house, yeah finally we met her in our first time. Super humble bride, gorgeous and the most important thing is she got fantastic family.
As a wedding photographer I sometimes curious about my couple’s family and try to get close with them before the photo shoot and it helps me a lot to capturing the moments.
No matter it’s gonna be full set or just simple wedding ceremony, I know for sure that wedding photo shoot is not only about my couple but this gonna be their family meeting too so know them each other will really help me to get involve.
During the photo shoot I knew Ledy has 3 super close friends who help her 120% of this simple wedding ceremony, since Ledy bought the house and nothing in it, these 3 fellas are the hero. Down here you will also see how they feel so happy and tears on the cheek when Ledy get married..
My photo shoot of this ceremony is done around 1 pm, here I choose to go back to Jakarta and stay for 1 more night in a hotel which closer to airport.
Here I would like to say thank you for great hospitality that Raffles Hotel gave to me, all delicious food, humble staff, and for sure the wonderful room that truly help me to refresh my body and soul after having this photo shoot. Once you go to Jakarta and do your business in this town I definitely recommend you to stay in this 5 star hotel, they work so great to serve us as well.
